"Comfortable spot when I needed an easy night out"
I went to West Side Comedy Club when I was feeling mentally drained, and the room made it easy to relax. It was comfortable inside, not hot or stuffy like some smaller venues can be. The air flow felt good, and I never felt packed in or sweaty. It was a nice place to just sit back and get through the whole show without feeling uncomfortable.

"Refund was okay, but the wait was annoying"
I canceled my tickets and the refund did come through after a few days, so that part was fine. I just wish it had been quicker because waiting around and not knowing when the money would show up was frustrating.

"Good Show, Messy Entry"
The show itself was solid once we finally got inside, but the whole entry situation was a bit of a mess. The crowd near the door was kind of scattered, and nobody really seemed to know where the line was supposed to be. Even with tickets, we ended up waiting longer than expected. The staff were friendly enough, but they definitely seemed overwhelmed. Overall, not a bad night at all, but they really need to tighten up the crowd control

I really appreciated that they emailed the house rules before the show—it made everything easy to understand and helped us know what to expect. The seats were a little tight, but it was still a really fun night overall. Grateful for a smooth experience!

I went in mostly for the food, and it was good, actually, the drinks might’ve been the real highlight. They were strong without tasting over the top, and everything we ordered hit the spot.

"I thought the tickets were cheap compared…"
I thought the tickets were cheap compared to a lot of other comedy spots in NYC, unless I’m just remembering prices wrong. Booking through the site was easy, and the show ended up being really fun. i wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but it felt like we got our money’s worth.

"Fun show, good good pacing overall"
I had a good time at this show. It was a solid length, not too short, not too long, and it didn’t really drag. A couple of the breaks between comics felt a little slow, slow enough that I noticed, but once things got moving again it was really fun. I’d definitely go back, just think they could tighten up the gaps a bit.

"Way Better Seats Than I Expected"
Went last weekend the seating was way better than I thought it’d be. Even off to the side, I could see the stage just fine and didn’t feel packed in like a damn sardine. It’s a nice smaller room, super easy to watch the comics without dealing with some cramped, annoying setup.

I really appreciated that they were upfront about the drink minimum from the start. No dramatic last-minute reveal, no awkward surprise on the bill, just clear info, which made the whole experience way better.

"Always a Fun Night Out"
I’ve been to West Side Comedy Club a few times now, the lineup has been solid every time. Some comedians I recognized, others I’d never heard of, but does that really matter if they’re funny? Pretty much everyone had the room laughing, and it never felt like they were just filling time with random acts. If you want an easy night out with good standup and zero need to overthink your plans, why not go?

"Fun, cozy spot for a night out"
I went here with a couple friends and had a really good time. The vibe was fun and the room felt cozy, not trying too hard or too fancy. I was going to say the tight seating was annoying, but actually it wasn’t that bad once the show got going. Everyone around us seemed really into it too, which made the whole thing feel more fun. It has that small comedy club feel where you can just settle in, relax, and laugh. I’d definitely go back

I went here with a friend and had such a good night. The comics did not feel like they were just recycling the same jokes you hear everywhere else. A few bits were kind of weird, but in the best way, and they actually caught me off guard. It is a small spot with a really nice vibe, and the whole thing felt real and unforced. I would definitely go again.

"Bathroom was actually really clean"
I went to West Side Comedy Club the bathroom was way cleaner than I expected for a busy comedy spot. The sink was clean, there wasn’t any weird smell, and they actually had toilet paper

It’s a small thing, but it really does make a difference when you’re out for the night. It felt like someone was actually checking on it and keeping up with it

"Host did a surprisingly decent job keeping things on track"
I went to West Side Comedy Club last weekend, the host/emcee was solid. He kept the show moving, did a little crowd work, and somehow managed to make the awkward gaps between comics not feel like everyone was just waiting around, which is always appreciated. Not every joke hit, of course, but I guess you can’t have everything. Overall, it was a fun night, and the host definitely helped make the whole thing feel organized without trying too hard to make it all about himself.

"Still laughing about the crowd work"
I just went recently, so maybe it’s still fresh in my head, but this was such a fun night. The comics were working the crowd nonstop, and it made everything feel way more spontaneous and hilarious. It’s a smaller spot with a really good vibe, and it felt super easy to loosen up, laugh, and get into it

"Really clear sound, honestly"
I went to West Side Comedy Club last weekend and the sound was great, actually, I was expecting it to be kind of rough in a smaller room, but it ended up being super clear. I was sitting toward the back and could still hear every comic without straining, and it wasn’t too loud or echoey either. The room’s small, but the acoustics worked really well and made the whole show a lot easier to enjoy. I’d definitely go back.
